First of all, I want to let you know that it is a privilege and honor for me to be provided with the opportunity to lead our association in 2006-2007. I have to admit that I felt a bit apprehensive at first in taking a lead role on the board since I specialize in a different field. However, NAIFA has helped me tremendously in growing professionally and personally. Thus, I could not pass up this opportunity to serve you and hope that most of you see and know the value that NAIFA offers to us all – after all, it helps us stay in business. I feel very fortunate to have a board of colleagues that have a passion and commitment to our industry this year.

   With that said, I want to assure you that we are looking forward to providing you with value added benefits that will assist you in continuing to build and succeed in your business. In addition, please anticipate in providing your input and suggestions to our board in order to track our progress. Let’s not forget that September is Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) – let’s kick off this year with those life sales and bring a colleague! Life insurance should be a part of any family’s financial safety net, and I can let you know personally that there are an abundance of individuals/families out there that don’t own a policy.
